A highly literary noir novel novel that demythifies the figure of resistance heroes.

In September 1944, began the Libération in French cities. Police chief Georges Duroy is a former member of the resistance. His first mission is to investigate a crime in the mountains of Vercors, land of emblematic battles between France and Germany. In September 1944, the corpse of a woman adds to the already long list of deaths. George Duroy will have to decide of the fate of the heroes who committed this irredeemable act.

François Médéline was born in 1977. After working at the sociology, politics and linguistics department of Science Politique Lyon, he was a cabinet director, and head of public relations for elected representatives. He has written four books, and is also a scriptwriter.
