After spending 12 years in jail for the murder of an old woman, model prisoner Arnaud Lécuyer is released on parole and returns to live in Paris, with a plumbing degree under his belt. What nobody knows -from the judge responsible for his sentencing to the psychiatrist in charge of his follow-up- is that he is the never identified Magician, a child killer who attracted his victims with magic tricks 12 years ago... and that his demons will quickly resurface once he is discharged...
