In Provence, in the villa of her friend Nina, Clara Brunante, former deontologist employed in a commodity trading firm, tries to rebuild her life with her son Theo after a suicide attempt. It is Casper Mud, a former colleague. A few days later, during the G10, the President's special adviser kills himself. He also used to work for the trading company. Soon after, another current employee is found dead and a famous coffee merchant is murdered.

The situation becomes extremely worrying for the company whose CEO, Victor d'Amadieu, contacts Clara and asks her for help and expertise, despite their rough past.
