Joseph is fifty years old, he is single and works in the lost and found Department at a Parisian station. One evening, while Joseph is touring the trains at the garage, he is attracted by unusual noises... and discovers an abandoned baby in a basket under a seat. Touched and destabilized, he decides to take it home. Just for one night. The next day, after his colleague Adèle helped him clean and feed it, he takes her advice and goes to the Department of Health and Social Security. But as soon as he passes through the automatic doors, emotion suddenly invades him. It's obvious: he can't leave this child here. So for the first time, something happens in Joseph's shipshape and emotionless life.
