In the near future, a new social network, Interfeel, allows you to share your emotions. It is quickly adopted by almost the entire population, now unable to go without. Everyone can know what the other person is experiencing and it is no longer possible to lie or hide what you feel. Strong or violent feelings have disappeared and humanity seems to live in peace, sharing moderate emotions together.
Nathan is 16 years old. He grew up with Interfeel.
But a tragic event will upset his certainties. What is Interfeel really? What's the secret behind this system that the world uses? And why do the Special Forces seem ready to do anything to stop him doing any further research?
In the course of his investigation, Nathan will meet a "network-free", Elizabeth, an intense and unpredictable girl. Together, they only have one goal, to break the network's hold on humanity. They will be helped by a Resistance group whose leader calls himself The Tattooist.
What Nathan and Elizabeth will discover may change the world forever... if they reach the end of their quest!
