Passionate about drawing, Lila has just finished her studies as a graphic designer when she meets Karl, with whom she falls madly in love. He finds her a first job, for four months, in the town of Saumur where he lives. Following her heart, Lila leaves her hometown and her family to go and live with Karl, in a big house on the outskirts of the city. Four months of pure happiness... But when her contract comes to an end, Lila starts to get lonely, she who has always lived in the warm atmosphere of the family café. She tries to make friends with Romuald, the gardener, and Charlotte, the housekeeper, but they both remain very distant. Until the day when Karl receives a letter from his brother Pierre. Their parents died in a domestic accident eight years earlier, and the two brothers haven't spoken to each other since. Lila understands that Pierre is trying to reconnect with Karl, so she sets out to reconcile them. But everything does not go as planned...
