Far from the fury of the world

Jérôme Camut & Nathalie Hug

If he picks you, no one will find you.

After finishing school, Alix returns to her native village and joins the police force run by her father, Bob. All her family live in this remote region of the Pyrenees, where she grew up. It's also where her mother died eight years ago.
After an accident involving the car of her best friend Christophe, who is nowhere to be found, Alix takes the risk of going alone into the heart of the forest above the village. Over the last fifty years, dozens of people have disappeared in this remote area. What Alix doesn't know is that she's entering the territory of John, a wild and peculiar being with a real hostility towards men.

Nathalie Hug and Jérôme Camut are a couple in life, and for work. They have written several novels together, and are also renown scriptwriters for TV.
