Sophie Loubière

A serial killer whose confessions have been transcribed, a vanished husband, a man haunted by his past and a woman desperate to reunite her family. A breathless tracking game along Road 66.

July 1966. An isolated house in Narcissa, Oklahoma is the target of a bloodthirsty killer. A pregnant woman and a 5-year-old girl are assassinated, a mother and her son Desmond are left for dead.
Desmond will try to grow up despite the unsolved investigation, haunted by the killers face and confronted with his psychologically weak mother and his fathers blame : If only you hadnt tied the dog up.
2011. Now an eminent criminologist, Desmond leaves Chicago to spend some time in his dead fathers house in Arizona. There, he meets Lola, a French woman on the track of her husband who disappeared 3 years earlier on the Route. Her only clue, sent by the latter: a notebook reporting sordid murders that could be the link between their two private quests.
