Carmelito and his pals wouldn't miss the opening of fishing season for the world. Unfortunately, they're catching no fish. Suddenly, someone has a bite: an old canvass sack! Upon opening the sack they discover... a little black cat, a bad luck cat! The hair ball tells them that when he was born at the Four Winds mill the superstitious miller snatched him from his mother and threw him in the river. Immediately, Carmen and Carmelito's parents offer to take him in.
