PITIKOK

Pitikok and the Baby Bison

Christian Jolibois & Christian Heinrich

Pitikok is a young prince who lives far away from men, in harmony with Nature, in the pre-Columbus America. The malicious and resourceful little rooster is confronted with the big questions and beauties of the world...

As a bison herd is running through the prairie, one of the little ones falls into a hole. Luckily, Pititok, thanks to his magic feather, will help him out and bring him safely back to his mother.

- A very instinctive and child-like line.
- Pititok encourages the child to face his/her own discovery phase, at the heart of the world and the questions that arise from it. Reading Pititok is learning about freedom.

The hidden son of a famous Irish fairy and an Italian toad, Christian Jolibois is 352 years old. Teller of stories, lies and whims, when he doesn't write he speaks with pigs, trees, roses and chiken.
Christian Heinrich endlessly scrapes palettes and ruffles paintbrushes.
