PITIKOK

Pitikok and the Forest Who Had a Cold

Christian Jolibois & Christian Heinrich

Pitikok is a young prince who lives far away from men, in harmony with Nature, in the pre-Columbus America. The malicious and resourceful little rooster is confronted with the big questions and beauties of the world...

One day, while he announces the arrival of spring, Pitikok meets a young racoon shivering with the cold. He decides to convince winter that the time has come to leave for good. However, winter is behaving like a hot-tempered child and Pitikok has to use all his humour, courage, and imagination to calm him down!

- A very instinctive and child-like line.
- Pititok encourages the child to face his/her own discovery phase, at the heart of the world and the questions that arise from it. Reading Pititok is learning about freedom.

The hidden son of a famous Irish fairy and an Italian toad, Christian Jolibois is 352 years old. Teller of stories, lies and whims, when he doesn't write he speaks with pigs, trees, roses and chiken.
Christian Heinrich endlessly scrapes palettes and ruffles paintbrushes.
